Steph and I had such a good time

with each other last night. Joe got us 2 tickets to the New Moon matinee. I picked her up at school, took her boyfriend home and came on home.



She said her hair looked awful so she put a book in front of her face. **sigh** That's her boyfriend beside her and her good friend Nicki to the right. She's the really short one.

I got wonderful birthday cards from Joe and Steph and tickets for the 5:35pm showing. I also got a new cellphone. We are changing our service to Smartalk. Steph has it and it works great. Cheaper and no contract.

After the movie Stephanie and I ate at Olive Garden. It was really good. I had only eaten there once before with some insurance gals years ago. We had a fabulous time. Our waiter was wonderful (gay of course) and made us laugh. She and I had planned for months to see the premier of the movie and I was tickled to death that it worked out like it did. I don't think it could have gone any better. Oh, and the movie was good. Reeeaaallllly good.

While I was in Mayfield I had my license renewed at the county courthouse. It is a very old building so when I was through I wandered onto the grounds and got some pictures.

I tell ya what. I had a perfect birthday. I was off of work with pay, relaxed a bit, but most of all I spent it with my loved ones. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Tomorrow is Thursday and

I will go to work. I will give my employeer a good day's work and then I am outta here baby. Or there baby. Taking off Friday for someone who has a birthday.

Steph is having 2 wisdom teeth removed in the morning. Even though Joe has the flu he is better today and said he could take her. That was good for me to hear because I really really need to be at work early to get some trucks a'rollin. BUT!!!!!! After 3:30pm Lisa be a free woman.

My initial plans were to pick Steph up at school Friday and she and I go to the premier of New Moon. She has been planning this day for months......literally months. I fear the theater will be sold out but we shall see. If it is, we can see it the next day or the next day. The important thing is that she and I will do this together. Just like we like it. She especially.

You know something folks? Today marks my brother So's Birthday (6 years). I can't think of anything else that is more important. That is because he has crossed so many hurtles and keeps on track. I really wish our mother was alive now to hear him speak about this faith in God. I can't see her face but I can guarantee one thing. She probably has the biggest smile in Heaven today. You know why? She is just as proud, no, she is MORE proud of So than me. And that is a good thing.

3am and wide awake

That won't make for a very good day at the office tomorrow, or should I say today. I went to the dr today to nip a cold/cough in the bud. I got a steroid shot and an antibiotic shot in the bum. Perhaps that has something to do with my insomnia, I have no clue. But it is what it is. At least I'm warm and not hungry. Goodness knows there are plenty of people in the USA that are both plus not sleeping tonight.

We had a delicious surprise visit from my grandkids Sunday. Well, Joe knew about but I didn't and I absolutely enjoyed every second of it.





I'm not one much for Christmas dresses but my goodness......what a doll!

Thrilling huh? I don't know why I didn't go on down the road. Oh wait, I remember now. Gun season opened the day before. Lots of hunters in our area and I wasn't donning orange. I really do need to take a spin around the block soon. After all, it will be winter soon and brrrrrr. Me no like the cold.
